But the FCC denied Allman’s Petition for Reconsideration arguing that Allman wasn’t able to meet the standards necessary to establish standing for his complaint that Entercom took undue control of the station it was operating under an LMA when it fired him.

Recently, Allman and Emmis were ordered to mediation over Allman’s breach of contract suit and the judge expects the two sides to have concluded mediation sessions by November 1. Craig Carton Speaks Out on WABC’s ‘Bernie & Sid’ Show. He told the WABC audience that he couldn’t talk about his defense of the fraud charges being leveled against him by the feds, but he did reiterate his innocence. Former WFAN morning drive personality Craig Carton did take the opportunity while speaking with Sid Rosenberg and Bernard McGuirk to say how much he wants to return to New York radio after his case is adjudicated and how he expects to hear from potential employers.

The New York Post reports that Carton threw a few jabs at WFAN – both at the morning show’s ratings and Mike Francesa’s waistline.
