I contacted Crucial Tech support and worked through problem with Steven. He was very helpful. We found that each module checked good in one of the ports, but not the other. He suggested that good results were had with previous calls if the problem port's card was given a little extra leveraged push in AFTER the slot was clipped back into locked position (I leveraged it further in with jewellers screwdriver).
