You have to set trade routes with your available ships (down on the right, there's a button for that iirc), you set start point and the ammount of goods you want the ship to take, then you set a destination to an NPC place where the ship will sell them (you can for example take them from your 1 place, to 2 and sell everything there, or if you want, to sell some of it at 2, some at 3, 4 and so on, then it repeats the route), that's also how you transport goods you need for the population from an island that can produce them to an island that can't. Set up trade routes 2. Do selling on the side when you have time with one of your boats! (just load the extras on there and sell to any of the AI players).

Also set up the AUTO trading/selling/Buying (do this so peole will come to your cities and buy things when they need them, this usually is later on a little) 4. Don't be scared to check youtube videos, WIKI anno page and everything else available to you on the internet. Even has a longtime fan of this series, I have found somethings online that even helped me. Add me on your Anno frends list and what we can do is bring your singleplayer game INTO a coop game where I can give you some tips and check out how you have been doing. This is actually very good, as a few friernds have had issues, they just start up that game in COOP mode and invite me. Then I can join and give some tips/help.

You can play coop with one city each or you can SHARE the same city and work together, which is VERY good for new players of this series. One of my friends had a few issues, I joined in and he watched as I fixed a few things for him and explained why I did it. Make sure to UPGRADE your warehouses! So you can fit more stuff!

Also later on after awhile you can build big STORAGE buildings that make it so you can store alot mroe stuff before it gets 100% full. Myself personally, I don't just do one of these things, I do them all! Its good to be doing a bit of everything. Such as setting the prices for selling to the AI when they need stuff, but dont stop there! You can also sell things on your own manually. This game is very very deep, imo it has the most depth of any of the series games yet. Dont expect to master this game in a few days or a week, just soak in what the internet has to offer and hit me up if you have any questions (I am kozzy420 on anno).
